Course Overview

This awareness course has been developed to help meet the duties of the employer under the Health & Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992. The regulations are designed generally for the benefit of those using DSE for a significant part of their job; however, the content is relevant to all those individuals who use DSE whilst at work. It provides a basic level of information to employees around the use of DSE. It will enable the learner to carry out a workstation assessment and put in place simple modifications to reduce the impact of using DSE whilst at work

• Know how to to correctly set up your workstation and associated DSE
• Understand the importance of correct set up to reduce risks to your health
• Be aware of your work environment and how that may affect your wellbeing
